Knowledge is power then college degree is essential

by ExpertBlogger 2. November 2017 14:28

Knowledge is power and so is the degree behind that knowledge. A degree from a good institute plays a pivotal role in one’s career. A good institute not only is responsible for shaping the future of its students but also ensures that each student succeed in their respective lives. A degree from a university leads to better prospects of employment which in turn gives way to the economic growth and more civilized societies. Choosing a good college or university is a herculean task in itself. There are several factors to be kept in mind before one could enroll in a university.

Some of the things one should consider before opting for a college are:

a. A proper research should be done for a college in the field where one aspires to get a degree. Gather facts and figures about different colleges and short list a few of them.

b. Browse through these short-listed colleges and get more details about them by going through their websites. If required do inquires with the university support staff and take relevant information.

c. The college campuses are the most important factor for a student to go for any college. The campus comprises library, laboratories, sports facilities, accommodation etc. Another factor is the types of courses offered by the college and that they suit a candidate’s preferences.

d. Admission fee is the next most important factor to go for a college. Some premier colleges offer good scholarships to the students based on the merit. For others the banks provide the educational loan to the students.

e. Annual fee should be taken into consideration by the candidate as it will decide the next course of action for gathering the funds for the admission. The family income bracket in which an individual falls in, shall decide the state or federal grant/loan given to a candidate for college degree.

f. Another important factor to be measured is the graduation rate of a college. This means the difference of the number of students enrolled in a particular year and the number of students from them pass out with a degree should be minimum. More the graduates from a particular university or a college in a year, higher will be the graduation rate and this ensures that the college is worth a go. Usually the accredited universities should be short listed those which are recognized by the state and provide superior education.

g. The ultimate aim of a college degree is to get a better job opportunity and hence a higher income. While deciding for a college the placement ratio post the graduation should be considered too. In case of the federal loans availed for attaining the university degree post college income matters the most in order to repay the debts.

h. Admission rate is also a parameter that decides a candidate’s entry into that college or university. Admission rate refers to the number of applicants that are admitted in that college or university. The college with stringent criteria poses more competition before the candidates and hence results in the intake of crème-de-la-crème lot.

The admission criteria of almost all colleges includes a minimum score of GPA , a cut-off score of the entrance test and some more requirements to be met that varies from institute to institute and also courses taken , depending upon an institutes's acceptance rate.

i. Student to teacher ratio is one crucial determinant for a college to be called as a good college. Bigger class sizes lead to divided attention of the teacher among larger group of students. Smaller class size ensures more focused teacher student interaction and bonding.

j. The practical implementation of the theory that is taught in a college is most important for a student. The intern ships offered by a university or a college is a good start of a successful career. Secondly the hands-on and practical sessions conducted by the institutes empower the students with real time situations how to face them better.

k. Lastly , the career defining counselling provided by the institute in order to guide the students about the plethora of opportunities that lay before them in the outside world.

The selection process of a college to attain a graduation degree is instrumental in a person’s career and financial growth.

Buying an Insurance? Be Smart and Do your Homework.

by ExpertBlogger 28. April 2017 17:24

We live everyday life with ease and we always want be like that, anyone on earth don’t want their life to be disturbed with any sort of bad things. But we all know that, this is not going to happen and every now and then there are some unexpected things will happened in our lives and we should be prepare for that in every sense including mentally, physically and finically. We can control our mental and physical trauma of any event but when it comes to finance it is really not in our hand and cost of any happening would be outrages. Then it comes a magic word called Insurances.

I Just wanted to discuss is how important is to have insurance for each and every one no matter what we do and more than that how important to choose right insurance with right plan  knowing that Insurance helps us in every part of life right from medical insurance to car insurance, home or mortgage.

Now some people who are good drivers they get annoyed with paying huge amount of money in their car insurance even though they have not used this anytime in their life even government made to take the insurance mandatory, same with medical those people really don’t use it and pay high premiums.  Generally when we talk about high insurance cost for anything from car to medical it boils down to underline cost of care. In case of medical there are some people who are using their medical insurance at the peak and there are some who are just paying their premiums and not using at all, also the plans for these insurance companies are so difficult to understand that a normal person take lot of time to understand. In this situation you should consider visiting and insurance advisor and figure it out that which plan is best suited for you. Instead of paying high premiums if you get the right plan it will save you tones of money.

Similar thing applies while buying care insurance few things you can remember that if you are driving less miles then you can choose a company which gives you discount on lesser mile. Now liability insurance is compulsory in some of the state but other things are not, let say if you are driving 10 year old car for glossary shopping then there is hardly any need to get collision and comprehensive insurance because even if met with an accident then the deductible will be so high on those that you could repair your own car with that deductible and if at all if it is major one then it is not worth to put that kind of money on that old car oh unless it is vintage one.

In nutshell , Insurances are most essential part of our life but when you are choosing it please make sure that you have done your homework for last 3 years your behavior and choose the right plan and after all you get once year chance so it’s worth the time.

Entertainment Race in the box, who’s gonna win?

by ExpertBlogger 12. June 2016 12:11

You must have surprised with the title "Entertainment Race in the box, who’s gonna win?" what is the race in the box for entertainment , but if you have switch from one to other tv boxes then you must have got an idea that what is I am talking about.

Yes I am talking about the race of TV boxes by many companies out there, currently we have so many different kind of TV streaming box in market and it is just to complicate to choose for the normal non-technical user who has very limited knowledge about apps, resolution and connectivity option they provide and also the limitation of each box, which they realized after buying them. Each and every box has their own pros and cons but we are not going to talk about those there because you can easily go and check their spec side by side on net and find out difference if you get it, Here I am trying put the point is, why these TV boxes has limitation one over other when the technology is available for every company and they know about it. For an instance Roku, Apple Tv and Amazon fire sticks are head to head competition in this category.

Each one has their up’s and down some are good some are bad but every time they comes up new version and old version is just stalls, I can get that they don’t want to release everything at same time and stop their sell on that device instead they release it step by step and keep upgrading version also the software inside this. In my personal experience I had use both the box Roku and Apple Tv.

For just an example let consider Roku, the casting feature is really poor in that, I don’t have any idea that if Apple TV can make real progress in casting functionality then why cannot Roku go and work on casting feature and make their device good. On other hand Apple TV has good casting capabilities but when it comes to app they just way behind and has very limited apps and it just bound you and you start hating.

Sometime I feel that when these companies are working against each other they just have some kind of mutual agreement that they will have monopoly in certain feature so that they could survive in the market side by side, one simple thing is Remote , now why can they just come to an agreement and design some kind of remote which has simpler structure , I don’t want to limit the innovation and ability of devices but come on when it comes to kids and non-technical people who has very limited grasp over the remote and when you handle them apple tv remote they just hate it , why you want to replace the button with touch pad , I get it if someone want it that way they have an option , make to remotes one simple and one super complicated, this is my personal experience my 5 year daughter just struggle with apple tv remote and hate it whereas the remote on Roku was really good for handling , one more is thickness , I know apple is famous for their stick design but , when someone has their remote always sticking inside middle of couch or just goes below rug while dusting then you started thinking that why the hell they made this thing so small , every time I try to find it and it’s a job one of kind.

I am not against the innovation they put in each product and comes up with unique and good ideas but when someone think about these just not only focus of tech oriented folk rather than consider from three year kids to 70 year old how they are going to use this.

On closing node I must say no body gonna win this race of box because each one has important one or another feature and it will always be a personal choice rather than what they offer.

Trendy Trailers & Conjecture Reviews

by SuperUser 4. February 2016 17:09

We have seen many people who are always decide whether to watch movie or not depending on whether they like trailer or did it have good review from people or critics or newspaper or someone else, really cinema need to judge by 2 min trailer or a review from someone who do not even know.

Let’s talk about trailer, if you decide to watch or not to watch cinema depending on the trailer and What if trailer is not good and not make by the person who has created movie and he did bad job or trailer is not reachable or something else then are you going to judge or garbage that film just because trailer is not good? Is the 2 odd hrs. of cinema is entirely get its charm for 2 mins, if the film genre is suspense thriller then film makers really have very less content to show in trailer because they don’t want to give anything in trailer, on other hands if film has good songs then makers put song clips all other trailer. I am not saying trailer is completely wrong but they are meant to give glimpse of cinema not to judge wheatear film is good or bad. Film is good or bad is different for each and every one depending on his or her own personality

Now let’s talk about review, there are many review website, videos, critics who does reviews for all kinds of movie some time they are right some time they are not, Many time reviewers are biased about some actors , director or so called production house, oh! Yes don’t forget about official sponsors they have to talk good about the movie, so whatever reviews you are getting are they right for you. I think they are definitely not because the basic thing which is different in entire mankind is the reaction to the emotions, sense of humor, test of topic and particular the genre of movies. It is not necessary the film or test the reviewer has you have the same, I can tell you many movies which has got bad or worst reviews but I have enjoyed those movies because I like that genre.

I have decided from now onwards if you are really film jerk and want to see some quality movies then please don’t judge the movie from the 2 min trailer or the reviews done by someone who has little bit more knowledge of films than you. It is always relative, it is always personal preference so if you have missed some of the movies because of those less stars then think again you might have missed something which might not be great or good but still you will like it.
